With 200 beds, Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, Virginia, offers the care and feel of a large, urban medical center, yet is located in a rural community with exceptional quality of life. Our Cancer Treatment Center was among the first in the world to install an IG-IMRT (Image-Guided Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy) linear accelerators for the treatment of cancer. We keep current with the latest technology, including a PET/CT fusion scanner, MRI, and a 64-slice CT scanner.

Our high standards in patient care demand even higher standards in our staff. At CVMC, we not only expect more from our employees, but we work to provide them with the most sophisticated tools available in healthcare today. In addition to our PET/CT, MRI and 64-slice CT scanner, we incorporate advanced diagnostics in our patient care through nuclear medicine, a cath lab for cardiac and vascular studies, a CAP-certified laboratory and a two-bed Sleep Studies lab.
